1. OBJECTIVES. We has been in possession of the ECHE letter from 2012 and since then we have participated in KA103 mobilities of students and teachers in the field of the Vocational Training (V.T.) of the 2 specialties of Higher Education that our HEI has. The initial objectives stated in the 2014-2020 Charter published on our website. These objectives of : STUDENT MOVILITY:
Promote collaboration and cooperation between institutions in different countries.
Support student mobility within the EC, without any ethnic or social restrictions on access to such mobility
Improve the quality of the V.T. with student stays in companies in other Member States, outside them, that contribute to mutual understanding and the exchange of professional and social knowledge.
Enrich V.T. with the cooperation of other European training institutions and contribute to the compatibility of qualifications and the implementation of the European credit transfer system (ECTS) within Vocational Training to facilitate the academic mobility of students.
Awaken in our students the awareness of European citizenship and promote their training and work mobility while enriching the property linguistically and socially.
PERSONAL MOBILITIES:
Offer training mobilities to our teachers and staff, when they require it, giving them the possibility of training in educational institutions, companies, or other entities from European countries, financed within the Erasmus programme, and thereby promote the training and exchange of ideas and knowledge.
Improved teaching-learning techniques for the rest of teachers through good practice transfer mechanisms for teachers who have carried out Erasmus experiences.
Our HEI has only two Training Cycles of Higher Education, which are provided by students and teachers intended for the mobility of this program. The Erasmus programme has been gradually implemented in our institution and every year we have tried to cover at least one student mobility and other teacher mobility. Our aim is to gradually increase the number of mobility and also in the future to establish communication ties with other European institutions to carry out exchanges of students and teachers with them. The Erasmus+ Higher Education programme allows our Training cycles to attract students to our two specialties, thanks to the mobility of students and improve the teaching-learning objectives thanks to the jobshadowing mobility of teachers, on the other hand, Erasmus+ has opened our institution to other Erasmus programmes, for example we finish a KA207 project in 2018 and we are in another today.
NEW OBJECTIVES FOR THE NEXT PERIODE 2021-2027: This new letter is an opportunity to reflect and expand our updated objectives in our Erasmus Policy Statement:
Establish in our HEI an internal organizational structure in order to ensure the continuity of European projects in the Erasmus + period (2021-2027).
Expand the number of students' mobilities. Explore the possibilities of mobility that enhance your digital skills.
Expand and/or secure the observation periods of the staff of the center with the possibility of including in the modules' programmes, the pedagogical experiences of the mobility carried out.
Establish in the future a network of European cooperation with other peer entities creating mobility based on true exchange and inclusion. So that students with fewer opportunities are allowed access.
In the future integrate local companies collaborating with our institution in the development of mobility projects welcoming exchange students from other countries.
Promote the improvement of language skills, not only English-speaking, but the other languages that make up the European Union.
Establish mechanisms to assess the impact of students' mobility on European citizenship, career development and employability.
2. CHOICE OF COLLABORATING PARTNERS.
Since the specialties of our Higher Degree students are quite generic, mainly the collaborating partners will be private companies (SMEs) where outgoing students can carry out the specific activities of their specialty, but the possibility that they can carry out their internships in other educational centers, such as Universities or Institutes, where they can also carry out such activities is not ruled out. The process of selecting partners will be done according to two criteria, one the suitability of the activity to be performed by the student, and another the language affinity and the possible integration of the student in the destination country. Those partners from countries that facilitate the social and linguistic integration of students will be prioritized. To choose partners we will rely on the offers we regularly receive from the Autonomous Agency for European Educational Programmes (SEPIE) and the databases of companies used in previous years, although we do not rule out the possibility, when necessary, of hiring intermediary companies that carry out the work in the country of destination, and make it easier for us to find partners, accommodation and also offer the possibility of language courses , or adaptation and knowledge of the customs and customs of the country of destination.
3. GEOGRAPHIC AREAS OF ACTION In principle, any European country may be a candidate when selecting the geographical areas of action for the mobility of our institute, but the language affinity of the participants with the country of destination will be prioritized, being the main criterion for the location of the participants who know, and preferably master, the language or languages required by the partner of the destination country.
